Capilano Suspension Bridge

Capilano Suspension Bridge is Vancouver's oldest and most famous attraction, drawing over 800,000 visitors annually. The bridge is 450 feet across and 230 feet above Capilano River and is conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver, through Stanley Park, and over the Lions Gate Bridge.

Take a stroll in the park while you are there. The sounds of nature mingle with award winning gardens. First Nations Carvers tell their story and the world's greatest suspension bridge helps you to enjoy an authentic West Coast rainforest.

First Nations carvers at Capilano Suspension Bridge work on-site in the Big House and tell visitors about their techniques, skills and heritage. The colorful Totem Park displays over 25 authentic totem poles collected since the 1930's.

Capilano also boasts the full service Bridge House Restaurant. The worn rafters and cozy stone fireplace create a comfortable atmosphere in casual, elegant surroundings. During the months of May to October, visit the Canyon Cafe and Loggers' Grill where you'll find tasty meals and barbecue favourites in a casual outdoor setting.
